Privacy Policy — Vajoy Uro-gyn Coach

This Privacy Policy explains how the Vajoy Uro-gyn Coach mobile app (“Vajoy,” “the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use it. We wrote this policy to match exactly what the App actually does — no more, no less.
1. The short version
Vajoy is designed to keep your information on your own device. The App does not create an account for you, does not have a backend server, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not transmit your health-tracking data anywhere. Everything you enter — water intake, bladder logs, Kegel sessions, reminder preferences, and similar entries — is stored locally on your phone using your device’s own secure storage, and is scheduled locally with your device’s operating system for reminders.
2. Information the App stores
The App stores the following types of information, on your device only:
• Tracking data you enter, such as water cup counts, void log timestamps, Kegel/pelvic floor session counts, and estrogen cream or massage adherence marks.
• Your preferences, such as reminder times, reminder tone and chime selections, hydration goals, and which features you’ve chosen to enable.
• Notification scheduling data, which your device’s operating system (iOS or Android) uses to deliver reminders at the times you’ve set, including while the App is closed.
None of this information is sent to us, to any server we operate, or to any third party. We do not have access to it. If you delete the App, this data is removed from your device along with it.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not collect, and the App does not contain the capability to collect:
• Your name, email address, or any account credentials (there is no account or sign-up)
• Location data
• Photos, camera, or microphone data
• Contacts or other personal data from your device
• Advertising identifiers or analytics/usage data
• Payment information
4. Device permissions the App requests
The only device permission the App requests is notification permission, used solely to deliver the reminders you configure (water, bladder training, Kegel/pelvic floor, estrogen cream, and massage reminders). You can decline this permission and still use the App’s trackers and educational content; you simply won’t receive scheduled alerts. You can change this permission at any time in your device’s Settings.
5. Third-party links
The App’s Learn section may include links to outside websites, including lovevajoy.org. If you tap one of these links, you’ll leave the App and be subject to that website’s own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review separately. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Vajoy app itself.
6. Health information and medical disclaimer
Vajoy is a self-care and educational tool, not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. Any tracking data you enter stays on your device as described above; we do not access it, and it is not shared with any healthcare provider unless you choose to show your own device to one. Always talk with a qualified provider about your individual symptoms, diagnosis, or treatment.
7. Children’s privacy
Vajoy is intended for use by adult women and is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect information from children, and since the App does not transmit data anywhere, no such information is received by us in any case.
8. Data deletion
Because all data lives on your device, you’re always in control of it:
• To clear individual entries, use the controls within the App.
• To remove all App data at once, uninstall the App from your device.
There is no server-side copy for us to delete, because none is created.
9. Data sharing and sale
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information, because we do not collect or receive any information from the App in the first place.
10. California privacy rights (CCPA) and other regional rights
Some regions, including California under the CCPA/CPRA, give residents specific rights over personal information collected by a business — such as the right to know, delete, or opt out of sale of that information. Because Vajoy does not collect or receive personal information from your use of the App, there is no personal information held by us for these rights to apply to. If this changes in a future version of the App, we will update this policy before that change takes effect.
11. International users
Vajoy can be used globally. Since no data leaves your device, there is no cross-border transfer of your information by us to describe.
12. Security
Your data is protected by your device’s own operating system and storage security (the same protections that secure your phone’s other locally stored app data). We encourage you to keep your device’s operating system updated and to use a passcode or biometric lock on your phone.
13. Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy — for example, if a future version of the App adds optional cloud sync, accounts, or analytics — we will revise this document, update the effective date above, and, for material changes, provide notice within the App before the change takes effect.
